Safeguarding at St Ann’s Church
At St Ann’s Church, The Tiverton Estate Church and @LoveTheTiverton, we take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously. Safeguarding is more than ‘child protection’ but relates to the actions of ensuring that all of our children and at risk adults are protected from harm.
We are committed to Safeguarding Children, Young People, Victims of Domestic Abuse and Vulnerable Adults. The PCC has adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practice on safeguarding which may be found on the Church of England’s website.

The parish of St Ann’s Tottenham is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer and Children's Champion. The Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages (https://safeguarding.london.anglican.org) contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our Parish Safeguarding Officer. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed, or may be at risk of harm, please contact the DSA on 020 7932 1224. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
