Sundays at st ann’s
Our Sunday services are at the heart of St Ann’s. We meet together every Sunday at 10.30am.
We are made up of all kinds of people, each with our own unique story and journey of faith.
If you are wondering what to expect…
Our services include singing, praying, and learning from the Bible. It’s also a chance to find out what’s going on in the life of the church. Children and young people are welcome to all our service. Once a month we share in an All Age service, and the other services in the month include groups for all ages. We also have a room in church with toys, where you can listen to the service whilst keeping an eye on your babies and toddlers.
Belong
We aim to be warm, open and welcoming to all people. By striving to make this the DNA of our church, we have seen growth through people having a positive experience of the life of the church and inviting others along.
Set in a multi-ethnic community, St Ann’s has always encouraged attendance, participation and leadership by people from all ethnic groups and ages in the area. This priority to make Christian fellowship and worship as widely available as possible has led us to plan churches on two estates in the area. We are a Resource church in the diocese.
We have a hearing loop, and open access to our church building. We want everyone to be at home in St Ann’s.
Believe
We want to encourage everyone in their journey of faith, and support them to grow spiritually in their walk with Jesus. We seek to worship the trinitarian God and to serve those we live amongst. We follow the diocesan priorities of being confident in speaking and living of the love of Christ Jesus, being compassionate in serving our community and places of work with the love of God the Father, and being creative in reaching new people and places with the Good News in the power of the Spirit.
Be out there
We are committed to reaching out, which is played out in our partnerships, our regular activities, and especially with our engagement with young people, schools and community groups.
